Artificial Intelligence Symposium 2025
The rapid development of generative AI has challenged the higher education sector, provoking a wide range of perspectives and responses. This has provoked reflection on some fundamental questions: What is the purpose of higher education, and what disciplinary knowledge should our graduates possess? Additionally, it has created opportunities to address perennial challenges in higher education: How can we provide inclusive or personalised learning at scale and developing more authentic and experiential assessments. It has also highlighted risks to academic integrity and learning behaviours.
