Dóchas | UCD Innovation Academy Creative Leadership Programme

This course, developed in partnership with Dóchas, is for leaders in the international development and humanitarian sector who want to learn about creative leadership and enabling change in their organisation and beyond. Participants develop the skills and tools needed to cultivate an innovative environment in their work, influence others and harness the energy of a team to solve challenges together. This course supports learners to: • Understand the relevance and importance of creative thinking. • Develop the competence for using innovation tools collaboratively in a professional context. • Hone and develop creative thinking, multidisciplinary problem solving, communication and presentation skills, team work and networking skills. • Apply Design Thinking as a practical framework to promptly employ innovation proficiencies and start making an impact. • Engage in creative collaboration to solve real-world problems. • Practice personal reflection as a tool for continuous self-improvement and self-directed learning as well as identify areas for personal action.
