The course consists of a series of five interactive seminars on the law and procedure of coroners, covering a comprehensive range of topics from reporting deaths, investigating cases, conducting inquests and reports to prevent future deaths. Students were expected to participate in discussions and short presentations on the importance of the role played by coroners in the administration of justice: Who are they? What do they do? What is the purpose of their work? How should they do it?

King’s Coding for Lawyers is an immersive and interactive course delivered through Codecademy’s online coding platform. The course enables students to understand the basic principles of coding, to distinguish different coding paradigms and to read basic code. The Flexible online content allows students to learn at their preferred pace with consecutive theoretical elements, practical components, and project sections to apply their learning. Students gain coding literacy and skills to navigate the technological revolution emerging in the legal space, including: · The relevance of coding for the legal profession · The basic principle and paradigms of coding · How to read simple code and complete coding tasks · Feel confident participating in meaningful discussion of technical issues relating to coding

This course equips participants with a firm grounding in the law and practice of international commercial arbitration. The course was taught by an international faculty of well-known arbitration experts. Every session featured leading academics at King’s College London and prestigious arbitration practitioners from around the globe. This combined format offered attendants rigorous conceptual teaching with a practical and hands-on perspective. Delivered in small groups, this course allows constant discussion and networking among attendants and with the weekly guest speakers. The course was taught online in intensive 3-hour sessions on Fridays during a 6-week period. This format allowed our attendants to combine their professional commitments with obtaining executive legal education at one of the leading law schools in the world. The International Commercial Arbitration course covers all the stages of arbitration proceedings, from drafting agreements through to enforcement and recognition of arbitral awards. The course adopts an international approach, examining common concepts, rules, and practices in arbitration worldwide. It is, therefore, useful to professionals working in any jurisdiction in the field of international commerce or dispute resolution.
