Students on the Introduction to Inclusive Design Online Short Course learn about inclusive design practices in a range of practical contexts. During the course, students learn how to design for accessibility and inclusion and expand their knowledge of participatory design and inclusivity. The course explores a range of inclusive design principles, and looks at the difference between lead users and extreme users to ensure customers are satisfied. The course covers a number of relevant topics including inclusive design, exclusion, mismatches, stakeholder mapping, systems mapping, design and emotion and participatory design.
