Fashion Business Practice Short Course

The Fashion Business Practice Short Course is designed for students who want to understand more about the fashion business sector. During the course, students explore the whole fashion supply chain, from manufacture to shop floor via suppliers and other middle men. Students experience guest lecturers from industry and visits to a factory, shops and relevant exhibitions. The course aims to help students identify the areas that they would like to work in and allow them to explore the various roles within the fashion industry. Students begin by looking at what is needed to develop a fashion business plan before considering the operational side. Students develop an understanding of different specialisms within the fashion industry and gain an insight into how they relate to the success of a business. By the end of the course, students will have had the opportunity to network and share ideas with other students and received feedback on assignments.
