The Data Visualisation Online Short Course is designed for professionals who have some experience of working with data visualisation and want to deepen their understanding of user centric infographic storytelling approaches and techniques.
Students on the Data Visualisation Online Short Course establish a compelling narrative using images and text.
During the course, students work with a live data set and a user-centric process and have the opportunity to wireframe visualisations for a range of audiences. Students explore a range of storytelling methods and formats used in data visualisation to create memorable visuals.
The course covers visualisation briefs, format design, users identification, ideation and wire framing.
By the end of the course, students will have the inspiration and confidence to combine data, illustration, text and images to tell a powerful story.
