PR and Marketing for 16 to 18 Year Olds Short Course

Anastasiia Krivova

The PR and Marketing for 16 to 18 Year Olds Short Course is designed to introduce students to the world of PR and Marketing. Students learn about a range of roles and functions within the communication industries such as direct marketing, digital marketing, advertising and public relations (PR). During the week, students work in groups to analyse case studies and go on a site visit to see marketing and PR in action. At the end of the course, students give a presentation to the rest of the class on what they have learned. The course covers the marketing mix, press releases and editorial coverage, press packs, images to influence the media, social media, email marketing and video generated content. By the end of the course students will have an understanding of the fundamentals of PR and marketing and will be able to identify and evaluate the components of the marketing mix. This is a non-accredited UALSC specifically designed as part of our kids and teenagers portfolio.
