Adobe Indesign - Beginners Online Short Course

The Adobe InDesign – Beginners Online Short Course is designed to teach students the essentials of page design and layout software. The course teaches students the techniques professionals use to create spectacular publications through a series of demonstrations and exercises. During the course, students learn how to create simple advertisements, as well as how to format and package creative work for future use. Students gain knowledge of a number of relevant topics including text editing, preparing documents of output, paragraphs, columns, bleeds and margins. By the end of the course, students should be able to: • Construct simple advertisements • Layout a multi column page • Identify and place correct image file formats • Apply text formatting and create save and apply a paragraph style • Wrap text around an object • Export a PDF for print • Package work for archiving and future use
