On the Fashion Design and Marketing Short Course students are introduced to the key principles of marketing. The course explores the basic steps from designing to selling a collection.
Students learn about the approaches and techniques on what make can make a fashion collection appealing, and the importance of carrying out trend, industry and market research on factors such as colour, fabric, price, design and retail outlet.
The course also provides an oversight into essential fashion communication topics including audience research, building press and PR campaigns, developing a promotional plan, and how to get that all-important media attention.
