Illustration Workshop Short Course

On the Illustration Workshop Short Course students are encouraged to innovate in their ways of image-making and communication, while also touching on elements of classic illustration and design. By blurring the distinction between illustration and graphic design and allowing type and layout to play an important role, this course takes a broader view of illustration and captures the spirit and enthusiasm of the BA Graphic Design degree course at Central Saint Martins. The course will emphasise experimentation, the generation of ideas and an awareness of the student’s surroundings. Students are taught via practical classroom activities as well as outside the classroom or at home. By the end of the course students have a better understanding of: Innovative methods for image-making and communication Improved portfolio of illustration work They will also have: Developed new skills Experienced life on campus. Had the chance to network and share ideas with students from across the globe. Received feedback and critique on assignments
