Fashion Communication Summer School Short Course

The Fashion Communication Summer School Short Course is an introduction into the various media roles surrounding the fashion industry. Across three weeks students get an insight into the worlds of fashion journalism, advertising, PR, photography, styling and art direction. The course covers key topics for fashion journalism like interview technique, reporting on the runway and social media. It also introduces students to art and editorial direction, exploring magazine cover design, branding, and fashion shoots with styling. During the course, students take part in a photography workshop exploring basic photography techniques to deliver fashion photos to a professional standard and receive media training for being interviewed.
