Art Direction For Film Short Course

The Art Direction For Film Short Course explores all the key aspects of screen design. The course covers a wide range of topics from script analysis and interpretation, to researching skills, development of concepts, design approaches and ways of presenting ideas. During the course, students gain an insight into the processes involved in a working art department. The emphasis is on developing a personal interpretation to a narrative through exploration and experimentation. Students also complete homework tasks designed to help them develop their ideas and skills base.
