Art and Design for 16 to 18 Year Olds Short Course

The Art and Design for 16 to 18 Year Olds Short Course is designed to help students strengthen their portfolios, gain confidence in their abilities and experiment with new ideas. Students are free to approach their projects in any way they choose and focus on their area of interest, such as painting, drawing, photography or illustration. The course encourages experimentation and the development of a critical approach to the work produced. During the week, students have the opportunity to work across a range of art materials and techniques and explore several areas of fine art, including observational drawing, research and life drawing. They will also be advised on how to produce and present a portfolio of artwork. This is a non-accredited UALSC specifically designed as part of our kids and teenagers portfolio.
