Fashion Mix Short Course

The Fashion Mix Short Course offers students a flavour of the mix of various fashion skills needed to experience the design process at Central Saint Martins. During the course, students learn how to do visual research for fashion in order to realise their concepts. Students work on various projects which are designed to help them develop their portfolio. The course is structured around daily workshops which enable students to begin designing their own unique fashion collection. Students learn how to experiment, communicate, expand their skills, use their individuality and realise original fashion ideas. The course covers several topics including research, draping, fashion figure drawing, colour ways and design. By the end of the course, students should have various project outcomes which may be added to a fashion portfolio. They will also have had the opportunity to network and share ideas with other students and received feedback on assignments.
