Adobe After Effects and Animation Beginners Short Course
James Fisher
Adobe After Effects is one of the principal platforms used in the motion graphics and animation sectors. The Adobe After Effects and Animation Beginners Short Course is designed for people who want to understand the basic parameters of this industry standard.
The course is delivered through a series of tutor demonstrations and practical exercises that give students the chance to apply their learning to live projects.
During the course, students explore the interface and gain an understanding the creative possibilities it offers. The course covers several topics including compositions and settings, importing artwork, working with layers, keyframes, effects, solids, masks, rendering and exporting.
By the end of the course, students should have an understanding of the After Effects interface and the main concepts. They should also be able to work with comps and pre-comps, use effects to create animation, optimise preferences and use keyframes to animate an object’s main parameters.
