Introduction To CSM Fashion Design Short Course

The Introduction To CSM Fashion Design Short Course guides students through the fashion design process. During the course, students work from a set brief through an extensive research process to generate and develop ideas for fashion. The course covers several topics including menswear and womenswear, research methods for designers, colour palettes, figure drawing, sketchbook development, design exercises, portfolios and design development. By the end of the course, students will have developed a good understanding of the design process for fashion. They will also have the tools needed to communicate their ideas and to begin developing a portfolio for application for further study in fashion.
