The Brand Management For Your Fashion Label Short Course is designed to help students develop an understanding of the distinction between a collection of fashion designs and a fashion brand. The course provides students with the tools needed to continue developing their fashion label. Through guided research of markets and trends, students learn how to identify their customers and unique selling proposition (USP). During the course, students compile a detailed breakdown of features that constitute their personal style. They also learn how to capitalize on all this through inspiration, cultivation and a winning pitch. The course covers a number of topics including how to plan a detailed PR strategy, brand identity, logos, graphics, visual campaigns and marketing strategies. Various marketing and PR account managers from major high street and designer brands also present case studies from their experience of the industry. At the end of the course, students present their branding, marketing and PR plan, alongside their sketchbook or mood board for a group critique and feedback.
