Acting The Vakhtangov Technique Short Course

The Acting The Vakhtangov Technique Short Course offers an introduction to the Vakhtangov methodology and its key principles through a series of practical exercises with a focus on imagination and justification. The course is led by the UKs leading Vakhtangov specialist Oleg Mirochnikov, and is permeated with a number of Vakhtangov concepts. Students are guided through a number of exercises and encouraged to enter a playful environment where any act of creative expression is possible. During the course, students strengthen their imagination, artistic courage and internal and external flexibility. They also develop the skill of expressing oneself physically on stage. The course aims to help students enhance their ability to fully justify their artistic creation and execute them fearlessly with absolute belief. By the end of the course, students will have had the opportunity to network and share ideas with other students and received feedback on assignments.
