Fashion Illustration Online Short Course

The Fashion Illustration Online Short Course offers an introduction to the essential skills in fashion illustration, covering conventional and new media techniques. Through a series of tutorials and practical assignments students are encouraged to find their own visual language to execute new designs, concepts and ideas. Students work on their drawing skills and learn how to illustrate the human body, and how to draw fashion garments and clothes using a range of mediums including ink, markers, watercolours, crayons and pastels, collage, digital and mixed media. By the end of the course, students will have developed and refined their personal style of illustration and created a range of expressive pieces for their portfolio.
