The Branding and Identity Design Short Course guides students through five key stages of brand identity design.
The course introduces students to core visual communication techniques using brainstorming, sketching, visual referencing and research, providing them with the creative toolkit needed to create a unique brand identity.
During the course, students develop conceptual branding and visual communication skills in an experimental and collaborative environment.
The course covers several topics including visual research, market analysis, mood boards, branding ideation, logo development and graphics.
By the end of the course, students should:
• Be able to create an authentic personal or commercial brand for activation beyond the course
• Have developed their branding and identity skills for portfolio or professional development
• Have explored the creative process while working collaboratively with others
