Digital Design for 16 to 18 Year Olds Short Course

On the Digital Design for 16 to 18 Year Olds Short Course students explore the potential of digital design through a series of fun and engaging projects. During the week students work with Adobe design packages (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign) and make use of illustration, pattern, image editing, colour and typography. They will learn a number of key principles related to the fields of illustration and graphic design and gain an understanding of the possibilities of digital design. The course covers vector illustration, colouring, image manipulation, image editing, layers, editorial design, layout and typography. Students are encouraged to develop their ideas through visual research and will finish the course with a body of work and skills that can be used in building a future portfolio. This is a non-accredited UALSC specifically designed as part of our kids and teenagers portfolio.
