Personal Branding Short Course

The Personal Branding Short Course investigates theoretical aspects of self-presentation and self-promotion. Students learn how to create a strong personal brand and build a personal brand strategy. During the course, students learn how to take control, manage and optimize their online personal brand presence and consequently, future opportunities. Students expand their knowledge through a series of short lectures, mini-workshops, and group exercises alongside a creative brief. The course covers several topics including brand identity, contextual research, graphic branding, verbal branding and social media branding. By the end of the course, students will have: • Created a clear value proposition • Identified their personal brands core values and purpose • Defined their brands personality and their unique personal brand DNA • Identified their goals to create and implement a vision for the future • Written a personal brand statement • Found / invented a personal brand name (if required) and/or a compelling slogan • Learnt the basics of how to market a personal brand on social media
