Pre-Foundation Portfolio Preparation for 16 to 18 Year Olds Short Course

The Pre-Foundation Portfolio Preparation for 16 to 18 Year Olds Short Course is designed to help students prepare an effective portfolio for full-time study. Students begin by focusing on objective drawing and move on to explore expressive possibilities across a range of media, including charcoal, paint, collage, and graphic tools. The course offers an introduction to textural and line drawing, mood boards, mixed media and 3D/sculptural work based on urban drawing. Each day will cover different activities that explore different approaches to drawing, with the aim of helping students create a body of work for their portfolio. By the end of the course, students will have an understanding of the foundation course environment and appreciate the approaches and methodology needed for this type of study. This is a non-accredited UALSC specifically designed as part of our kids and teenagers portfolio.
