JESSICA JACOBS
The Westminster Employability Award (WEA) is an employability achievement award, designed to help students gain formal recognition for the extracurricular activities they take part in during their time as a University of Westminster student. Students are awarded the Westminster Employability Award for demonstrating commitment to their personal and professional development.
To complete the Silver level, students may have taken part in a range of activities, including:
Attending exclusive events to gain industry insights, to develop new skills, and to explore their career options
Joining key Careers and Employability initiatives, such as mentoring, enterprise programmes, training opportunities, and more
Gaining valuable experience, such as through internships, work placements, insight days, or part-time jobs
Completing training courses both in-person and virtually, to develop transferable skills relevant to the workplace
