Introduction to Interior Design Part 2 Short Course

The Introduction to Interior Design Part 2 Short Course is designed to help students consolidate and extend their interior design experience. The course follows on from the Introduction to Interior Design Part 1 Short Course. Through a series of lectures, workshops and demonstrations, students become more confident and adventurous as they incorporate their newfound techniques to construct a design scheme for a domestic interior. During the course, students are guided through the use of colour, soft furnishings and lighting. The course covers several topics including stairs, plan and section drawings, sketch modelling, inking, rendering and presentation boards. By the end of the course, students will have completed a portfolio of work to communicate their design knowledge professionally with future clients. They will also have a number of newfound design-related skills and the confidence to start work on an interior design scheme by themselves.
