Sustainable Fashion Short Course

Chiara Rivituso
The Sustainable Fashion Short Course offers students a broad overview of the fashion industry, from textile fibre production to the globalisation of fast fashion from a sustainability point of view.
During the course, students are presented with research findings and encouraged to source up-to-date information, facts and figures on the topics covered.
The course covers a number of topics through a series of workshops including the fashion supply chain, textile fibres, design methods, successful sustainable brands, fast fashion and waste. Students gain an insight into how to approach sustainability through design.
By the end of the course, students will have a handbook of information for future reference. They should also have created a plan for personal projects in this field.
