The Adobe After Effects and Animation – Beginners Online Short Course explores the fundamentals of motion graphics and animation.
Adobe After Effects is one of the principal platforms used in the motion graphics and animation sectors. The course is designed to introduce students to the basic parameters of this industry standard. Students learn through a series of engaging tutor demonstrations and practical exercises, and have the opportunity to apply their learning to live projects.
The course covers several topics including compositions and settings, importing artwork, layers, keyframes, applying effects, solids, masks, rendering and basic text in After Effects.
By the end of the course, students should have an understanding of the After Effects interface and main concepts and be able to work with comps and pre-comps. They should also be able to use keyframes to animate an object’s main parameters and use effects to create animation.
